Very good food and very nice staff. The restaurant is neat and clean. They also have an English menu. I will definitely be back.

It is tasty and fresh, but the staff is sometimes a bit bored. With vegetables you sometimes notice the conveiniance origin, but that's not bad. Very tasty summer rolls and red Thai curry. The star deduction is there for the mentioned friendliness and the somewhat loveless ambience

The most expensive Asian restaurant I have ever seen only one star out of five Starter Wantan baked not good were really badly done and didn't taste good? ... Beijing soup ... A disaster that was just a brown broth with nothing in it ? Zero out of 5 stars The main courses: fried noodles with chicken was enough but too expensive for what you get for it. Hong Kong duck tasted okay, but far too expensive for what you get there. One star out of 5 five stars ? Conclusion Currywurst with French fries would have been better today I think. I won't order there anymore and I will avoid the restaurant.

Very tasty Vietnamese food. Fried / cooked to the point and plentiful. In addition, the service is very friendly and flexible with regard to the dishes. I've never had to wait long :)

One of my favorite restaurants in Kempten. Currently you cannot indulge yourself in the restaurant with authentic Asian and Vietnamese dishes. BUT! It is possible to bring a piece of culinary vacation home. As always, the dishes are freshly cooked and still hot on the plate even at home. Especially in these times it is important to support restaurants like SamSon. Pro tip: buy a voucher and look forward to the beer garden that will soon open!

Rice ribbon pasta can only be recommended! Chicken breast very tender. Hoisin sauce super delicious. Waiting time about 40 minutes.

The place is few steps away from Forum Allgäu, the food is relatively ok, nothing special to say WOW. They are a little bit slow in serving, so if you are in a hurry maybe you need to consider different option, but if you are on holiday and you dont care for waiting and you dont even remember which day are now today, then try this restaurant. What i like it here, is eating outside and chilling. It would be great if there is a live band singing outside, perfect place to go after a long tiring day at work.

The Sam Son was recommended to us and therefore went there to eat. The food was good and plentiful. Vegetables were not cooked too soft and the duck was pink roasted. The meat at the other serving was also nice fried. I deducted a star because unfortunately only one lady was there to serve. The good one ran really with a full restaurant what she could, but one had to wait relatively long also for drinks.

Very good food. Not this totfrittierte pointer from some Chinabuden. Still fast on the table. The service did not seem to be the motivation in person, but I wanted to eat something and not be entertained. Fits.

Generous outside terrace. Very nice restaurant, authentic Vietnamese cuisine, good selection (also spicy / not spicy). The pink roasted barberie duck was great. Friendly service. We would love to come back. Attention: not suitable for wheelchair users as there are several steps (at least 6 in front of the door). But in summer, when the garden terrace is open, wheelchair users could of course also eat well there. (Only toilet visits are not possible)

I was there four to five times and tried always different dishes. All of them were delicious. They cook only without glutamate (and you feel that, flavours are delicately intense but not exaggerated) and with fresh products (happen to me once, that they couldn't do a dish with salmon for me, because they couldn't get fresh, and they don't want to use frozen fish). Only one thing to care about: They offer very good wines, but also a Chinese red wine. If you are use to good red wines, just leave it! I was also curious and made my experience. Never again... ;-)

Very tasty food and nice serve! The duck dish, pho-beef noodle and the mixed lemon juice are superb!

Really fresh thai summer rolls, great portion sizes, flavorful main meals with good portions of chicken, vegetables and noodles combined. Will absolutely eat here again!
